What is Psychosynthesis?
Described as the 'Psychology of Hope’, Psychosynthesis was founded by Italian psychoanalyst Roberto Assagioli in 1911.
In contrast to symptom-focused therapies, this talk-based therapy is not only healing, but also transformative and developmental.
Holistic in it’s approach, it focuses on developing and integrating the complete person – mind, body, feelings and soul (our authentic selves, or personality).
This ‘synthesis’ (or harmonisation) of inner and outer relationships is the ultimate goal of Psychosynthesis, resulting in people who are content with their individuality and relationships.
