Our work together begins with creating a safe and empathic environment, where the stories of the past can be explored with compassion and understanding. We look into your family history at a pace that is appropriate for you. Uncovering patterns and traumas that have been passed down and how these have shaped your experiences and relationships, often unconsciously, can be profound. The ‘unthought known’ shapes and impacts us in ways that do not always truly serve our well-being and potential but may have been necessary for our (or our ancestors) survival. Just as physical illness can run through families – known as hereditary – so too do our looks and behaviours, responses to situations. It is in our DNA, we are shaped by our environment and often significantly unconsciously.
Through guided imagery, mindfulness, and reflective practices, we aim to connect with inner resources and wisdom, facilitating a process of integration and healing. Exploring the spiritual dimensions of your experience can also reveal new paths to understanding and connection, offering a broader perspective on your place in the generational lineage.
