Dealing with Anger: Understanding & Managing Anger
In my practice as a Psychosynthesis Psychotherapist, I address the multifaceted experience of anger, guiding clients through the process of understanding and transforming this powerful emotion. Anger, while often viewed negatively, can signal deeper unmet needs or unresolved issues. Ultimately, anger is about Love – we are protecting a part of ourselves that has yet to develop a ground where we feel safe enough to authentically express and be heard. Experiences of inefficiency, sullenness, procrastination and stubbornness are some of the passive aggressive ways that anger is expressed. My approach is to explore these undercurrents with compassion, fostering a pathway to self-awareness, regulation, expression and ultimately, self-mastery.
